Education

Jim Davis graduated from Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History.  After receiving his Bachelors, he earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia.  After finishing law school, he returned to Arizona where he worked as a prosecutor for over 10 years.  He was responsible for prosecuting such crimes as misdemeanors, DUI, vehicular offenses, domestic violence-related homicides and serious child abuse felonies.  Mr. Davis’ time as a prosecutor provides experience that is extremely important when practicing Criminal Defense law.

The Law Offices of L. James (Jim) Davis, P.L.L.C., was founded in 2008, with a focus on Criminal Defense and DUI defense.  Having been a member of the bar since 1995, Mr. Davis is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Arizona.  As the founder of the firm, he will personally handle your case.  When you hire Mr. Davis, your case isn’t handed off to a lower level attorney with limited legal knowledge and trial experience.
